Borrowing Books, etc.
To borrow materials from any Vanderbilt library, you will need an Alumni ID card. Cards for alumni are issued by the Commodore Card Office. You must go there in person. An Alumni ID Card has a one-time fee of $10.00 and replacement cards cost $15.00. Alumni will be asked for their social security number and a photo ID for verification of status. Card Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:00 pm.
At the Walker Management Library, alumni enjoy the following check-out privileges with a valid Alumni ID card:
- Books - 3 weeks
- Audio books - 2 weeks
- Career books - 28 days

Using Library Databases

Vanderbilt alumni can use many of the University’s electronic databases and resources while on campus. Due to the database vendors license agreements, we can only offer remote database access to Owen alumni.

Business Information Service (BIS)
Alumni may contact the Walker Management Library's Business Information Service for additional research assistance. This service ranges from advice on where to look for information to in-depth research on your topic. Cost estimates and project scope are always discussed and agreed upon in advance.
