EIU Country Reports (through the Economist Intelligence Unit) analyzes current trends and provides two-year forecast. Covers political and economic outlook, economic forecast, as well as analysis of key political and economic policies, including foreign trade. Includes statistics. Quarterly reports, with monthly updates for larger economies. Covers about 30 countries. Factiva is a multi-functional database. It is primarily used to find the full-text of business publications, including magazines, trade publications, and newspapers. It has full-text coverage of the Wall Street Journal. It is a good source for international and local business news, which typically isn't covered in other databases. Also included in this database are company profiles and financial quotes. [more]
World Factbook
US Central Intelligence Agency's World Factbook provides national-level information on countries, territories, and dependencies, but not on subnational administrative units within a country or supranational entities like the European Union. [more]
