Business Source Premier
BSP provides coverage to virtually all subject areas related to business, including management, marketing, economics, finance, accounting, and international business. In addition to covering the major scholarly business journals, BSP also covers company reports, SWOT analyses, working papers, country reports, industry reports and other searchable categories like case studies, book reviews, product reviews, speeches, and interviews. This database is the exclusive online provider of many major journals like the Harvard Business Review, but it does not contain the fulltext of the Wall Street Journal (see Factiva for WSJ). [more]

International Financial Statistics
IFS Online is published by the International Monetary Fund and is a standard source of international statistics related to finance - both domestic and international. Data is provided to help analyze international payments, rates of inflation and deflation, exchange rates, international liquidity, international banking, monetary policy, interest rates, prices, production and government and national accounts. WDI: World Development Indicators Online
Produced by the World Bank, World Development Indicators provides direct access to more than 550 development indicators, with time series for 208 countries and 18 country groups from 1960, where data are available. [more]

World Factbook
US Central Intelligence Agency's World Factbook provides national-level information on countries, territories, and dependencies, but not on subnational administrative units within a country or supranational entities like the European Union. [more]

WTO International Trade Statistics
The World Trade Organization's International Trade Statistics database contains interactive access to the most up-to-date WTO trade statistics, and annual publication including detailed analysis and tables (leading traders, trade by sector and product, regional trade, LDCs, etc.). Issued by the U.S. State Department.

The United Nations
Links to UN statistical agencies covering a range of social and economic data sources. Also includes statistical sources from other atonomus statistical sources, e.g. the World Tourism Organization and Eurostat (from the European Union).

Foreign Country Statistical Agencies
Some information may be in English, but most sites are in the country of origins native tongue.

Foreign Trade Statistics
Current and historical data on imports and exports.

U.S. Department of Commerce
Bureau of Economic Analysis - U.S. direct investment abroad (and vice versa), international transactions, data on multinational companies.

Bureau of Labor Statistics
Although there is mostly domestic statistics, you will find some foreign labor statistics and import/export price indices.

DDCN (Davidson Data Center & Network)
Socioeconomic data on emerging economies.

OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development)
Click on “Statistics” to find data on such topics as agriculture, productivity, healthcare, energy and much more for the 30 OECD member countries.

Other Sources of Information
If you are looking for international data and statistics on a particular industry try searching for an organization/government agency that monitors, regulates or lobbies for the industry you are researching. For example, if you are looking for energy investments in Russia , try looking at the International Energy Association or Energy Information Association homepages.
