For Your Classes

At your request, a librarian will come to your class to speak to your students about resources relevant to your course assignments. Librarians will:

  • develop customized PowerPoint presentations with handouts
  • link database and/or articles for you in your Blackboard course
  • demonstrate databases relevant to the course
  • work with you to identify new databases or resources that you may wish to incorporate into your assignments

For Your Research

Librarians are available to help you identify and use resources relevant to your research. They can:

  • show you new databases and resources in your teaching and research areas
  • show you how to set up database alerts to track articles related to your research
  • show you how to do cited reference searches to track how often your publications are cited
  • demonstrate databases and other electronic resources related to your research and teaching
  • provide library resources overview to new faculty
