Welcome to my web page! I am a Finance Ph.D. Candidate at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. I anticipate completing my degree in 2008.
My current areas of research include corporate governance, CEO compensation, and executive team structure and incentives. My dissertation consists of 3 essays that examine the role of inside directors on corporate boards and their association with firm performance, shareholder wealth, CEO compensation and board decision making. Separately, I am working on a joint project with Charu Raheja of Wake Forest University that examines CEO successions and executive team incentives. |
